As for public transportation, Ataşehir is mainly connected to the rest of the city through the M5 metro line which links Cekmekoy to Uskudar. It is also used to connect you to the Marmaray and the Metrobus therefore allowing you easy moving between the two side of Istanbul. Just like any other district in the city, Ataşehir has a wide network of buses that would get you anywhere you want within or outside the district.
